William & Mary two-part highboy, walnut. The upper section sports a stepped cornice with a secret drawer, and three side-by-side drawers over three graduated full-width drawers. The lower section has six drawers, a shaped apron, trumpet-turned legs, a low scrolled stretcher and bun feet. The highboy has an old refinish and some restoration. Circa 1720, New York.

Pair of portraits of a sea captain and his wife, o/c, unsigned. The captain is shown holding a spyglass. His wife is holding a bouquet of flowers. Behind her are flowers in a window box and a window looking out at mountains in the background.

A brass plaque affixed to one frame attributes the portraits to George Kennedy, (1818-1870), but experts who have subsequently examined the portraits have attributed them instead to Daniel G. Lamont, (1817-1883). The portraits are in good condition with some repair. Mid-19th century.

Paint decorated chest of drawers. The chest sports four drawers, attractively turned legs, a nicely scrolled apron, and the original paint decoration. It is in very good condition, with one drawer lip repair and minor paint wear from age and usage. The brasses are old replacements. Circa 1830, New England.

Queen Anne drop-leaf table, maple. The table sports a top and leaves with beautiful patina, carved aprons on both ends, and cabriole legs ending in pad feet. It is in fair-to-good condition, with an old iron repair at the top of one swing leg, and damage to one edge of each drop leaf. Circa 1750-1780, New England.
