William & Mary two-part highboy, walnut. The upper section sports a stepped cornice with a secret drawer, and three side-by-side drawers over three graduated full-width drawers. The lower section has six drawers, a shaped apron, trumpet-turned legs, a low scrolled stretcher and bun feet. The highboy has an old refinish and the base has been restored. Circa 1720, New York.
