Folk art portrait of a man and woman, o/c, unsigned. The painting is housed in an excellent period frame, paint decorated to simulate mahogany. It is in good condition, unlined, with craquelure and a repaired tear to the woman’s shoulder. Mid-19th Century, probably New England.
