Matched set of eight Federal fancy chairs. The chairs sport good rush seats, grain-painted frames, a tablet crest with an acorn, leaf and vine stenciled motif, a horizontal back splat with a stylized flower and tassel, gold stringing on the stiles, rails, legs and stretchers, front legs with ball turnings at the knee and foot and a slat-front stretcher. They are in very good condition and ready for everyday use. Circa 1830-1840, American.

Chippendale tiger maple slant-front desk. The desk sports strong tiger striping, an attractive interior with drawers and cubbies, and a strong Chippendale base with attractive cutouts. (The missing brass drawer pulls on two interior drawers will be replaced.) The desk is in very good condition, marred only by a very slight warpage of the lid and minor wear and tear from age and usage. Late 18th century, probably New England.

Exceptional Native American Penobscot Bay lidded basket. The basket is decorated with vegetable dyes in vibrant tones of salmon and blue with curls in bands of green, yellow, blue and natural colors. The overall visual expression is striking. The basket is in very good condition with some minor breaks in the lid. It is a wonderful example of Native American art, sure to be a conversation piece. Circa 1850, Maine.
