A primitive full-length portrait of a young girl and her dog, o/c, unsigned. The girl is shown in a blue dress and coral necklace embracing a large dog, with a landscape in the background. The painting is housed in a period gilt-decorated frame. It was conserved by Yost Restoration in Oxford, CT in 2022, including relining, a new stretcher and some inpainting. Circa 1830, American School.
