Pilgrim Century turned armchair, oak. The chair sports a red stain, acorn finials, excellent turnings and a later rush seat. (The seat has now been stained and is a darker color than what is shown in the photos.) The chair is in very good condition with the expected wear from age and usage. Circa 1650, American.
