Queen Anne tavern table, pine. This very attractive table sports a rectangular top, a single dovetailed drawer and cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The table is in very good condition. The top has been refinished and the frame has an older dry surface. There are no repairs or replacements. 18th century, New England.
Provenance: The estate of Judy and John Herdeg. John Herdeg was a well-known antique collector and scholar and was Chairman of the Board of the Winterthur Museum.
