Twenty-drawer painted apothecary, pine. The apothecary sports original paint decoration and painted labels. The hardware has been replaced and the base has been added. A few of the drawer fronts exhibit some damage. As is so often the case, the apothecary was cut down from a larger unit. Late 19th century, New England.
