William & Mary courting mirror, pine. The mirror sports an ebonized ground with remnants of a red scrolled foliate decoration, a shell-formed pediment and a mirrored glass panel. The mirror is in good condition, with significant desilvering of the mirrored glass and overall wear to the surface. Early 18th century, New England.
