Transitional William and Mary/Queen Anne tall chest of drawers, pine. The chest is a rare form, sporting three small drawers over four full-width drawers, a dramatic carved apron and outstanding original turned feet. It is painted in old red paint over the original red. The chest is in very good condition, with the original brass pulls replaced with wooden knobs, a patch on one side where a large knot had fallen out and a few “dings” as expected from age and usage. 18th century, New England.
