Painted apothecary cabinet, poplar. The apothecary has 32 square-nailed small drawers over six larger drawers and is painted in old Spanish brown paint. The drawer pulls are replacements and are painted to match. The back boards are original. The apothecary is in good condition with wear commensurate with age and usage. 19th century, American.
