Landscape painting, o/c, attributed to Walter Oddie. The painting depicts a farm scene with a fisherman in the foreground. A label on the back from Kennedy Galleries in New York reads, “Fishing Down on the Farm”, with an attribution to Walter Oddie, (1805-1865). Oddie was a noted Hudson River School artist and an elected member of the National Academy of Design in New York. The painting is in very good condition, having been professionally conserved and relined with scattered in-painting. 19th Century, New York.
