Continuous-arm, brace-back Windsor armchair. The chair sports a nice, warm finish, bold turnings and a nicely shaped saddle seat. It is stamped underneath, “E B Tracy”. Ebenezer Tracy, (1744-1803), is considered to be one of the most prolific chair makers. The chair is in very good condition and ready for everyday use. Late 18th century, Connecticut.
