Early two-piece open-top pewter cupboard, Southern yellow pine, with a hooded top, spoon slots, plate rails, and "H"-hinges. This cupboard was deaccessioned from the Carter's Grove Plantation Museum in VA, (owned by Colonial Williamsburg), and dates to the Eighteenth century.
