Rare presentation redware jar, with yellow, green and light brownish glaze, rope twisted handles, decorated with squiggles and the name "Darah Dilworth" written in script, along with the date "1825". (The rest of the date is unreadable.) The jar was made by David Mandeville, who operated a pottery in Circleville, Orange County, NY in the early 19th century. The jar is in good condition, except for some abrasion and chipping in the glaze consistent with use over a long period of time.
