Cane - Native American Motif

This magnificent cane has been intricately carved out of a single piece of wood, with numerous carved figures suggestive of a Native American motif. Along its 34" length, there is a bird and its nest with two eggs, a salamander, a large rattlesnake wound around the cane in the act of biting a fish, a frog, a turtle, and a second fish. The cane is also carved with the date, "1914", along with other decorative carvings. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of folk art.
