Hard-to-find painted farm table with a drawer. The table sports 19th century red paint on the base, with some still left on the top. The pine top is constructed with two boards, (one of which is 21¾” wide!), and has very attractive patina. The Sheraton legs are nicely turned and very sturdy. They have been ended out by about an inch to ensure comfortable seating without interference by the apron. Seats six comfortably and eight in a pinch. Circa 1830, American.
