Painted Cupboard/Sideboard

Country cupboard or sideboard, having two half drawers over two doors.

The drawers are nicely dovetailed. The doors open onto a large storage area. The surface has been taken down to the original red color. This cupboard is a hard-to-find form that would serve as an excellent country sideboard or look attractive almost anywhere in a home. Circa 1830-1840, Hudson Valley,  New York origin.
