Paint decorated blanket chest. The blanket chest is boldly decorated on three sides and the lid with wild reddish/brown swirls on a chrome yellow ground. It has a clean interior and rope handles, and is in very good condition except for significant paint wear on the lid. 19th century, Vermont.
