Long farm table or hutch table.
The table sports a three-board pine top with beautiful patina and wear, original red paint on the base and on the underside of the top, and shoe feet. (The feet are old but not original.) Constructed with hand-forged nails, the table has a large overhang which makes for comfortable seating of up to eight people.
With the top raised, the table becomes an attractive settle bench. The lid of the seat lifts for storage underneath. Used either way, the table has wonderful color and substance. Circa 1800, New England.
Dimensions: 6’3” long x 35½” wide x 30” high.
