Outstanding early pine cupboard with a very unusual configuration.
The cupboard features a single door with two raised panels. Above is a small drawer flanked by two small cubbies. The cupboard boasts a strong cornice, reeded pilasters, and attractive molding around the base and above the pilasters. The door and the drawer are surrounded by thumbnail molding. The brasses are original. Circa 1790-1810, Hudson Valley or CT origin. There is some restoration to the Chippendale bracket base.
