Dutch Delft "Peacock" Charger - "Blompot"

A Dutch Delft charger, decorated with the "Peacock" pattern and a stylized border edged with yellow slip. The "BP" mark on the underside is the abbreviation for "de veygulde Blompot", (The Golden Flower Pot), a mark adopted by P. Vander Strom when he opened his pottery in 1693. The charger is in very good antique condition, with numerous rim flakes and one larger rim chip. Early 18th century.
